Working with Multiple Schedules
Create different availability schedules for different event types and use cases.
Working with Multiple Schedules
Multiple availability schedules let you offer different hours for different types of meetings. This is a Pro and Enterprise feature.
Why Multiple Schedules?
- Sales calls from 9 AM – 12 PM when you're most energetic.
- Internal meetings from 1 PM – 4 PM.
- Support office hours on specific days only.
- Different hours for different client time zones.
Creating a New Schedule
- Go to Settings > Availability.
- Click New Schedule.
- Give it a descriptive name.
- Configure the weekly hours.
- Save the schedule.
Assigning to Event Types
Each event type can use a specific schedule:
- Edit the event type.
- In the Availability Schedule dropdown, choose the schedule.
- Save. This event type now uses only those hours for availability.
Default Schedule
One schedule is marked as the default. Any event type without a specific schedule assigned will use the default. To change which schedule is the default, click the star icon next to the schedule name.
Tips
- Name schedules clearly: "Morning Sales Hours" is better than "Schedule 2".
- Review all schedules quarterly to make sure they still match your work patterns.
- If a schedule is no longer needed, check which event types use it before deleting.
