Managing Payment Methods

Add, update, or remove payment methods for your subscription.

Managing Payment Methods

Keep your payment method up to date to avoid service interruptions.

Viewing Payment Methods

Go to Settings > Billing. Your current payment method is shown in the "Payment Method" section.

Updating Your Card

  1. Go to Settings > Billing.
  2. Click Manage Billing (opens the Stripe billing portal).
  3. Under payment methods, click Update.
  4. Enter your new card details.
  5. Save.

Alternatively, click the Update button directly next to your card on file.

Adding a New Card

You can add a new card via the Stripe billing portal:

  1. Click Manage Billing on the billing page.
  2. Click Add payment method.
  3. Enter the card details.
  4. Set it as the default if desired.

What Happens if Payment Fails

If a payment attempt fails:

  1. You'll receive an email notification.
  2. Your billing page shows a "Past Due" warning.
  3. You can retry the payment or update your card.
  4. Stripe will automatically retry the payment after a few days.
  5. If multiple retries fail, your subscription may be cancelled.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Discover

Organization Payment

If your billing is managed by an organization, only organization owners and admins can update payment methods. Go to the organization's billing page to manage.

Tips

  • Update your card before it expires to avoid failed payments.
  • Use a company card for business accounts.
  • Check your billing page if you receive a "payment failed" email.
