Collective Events

Collective events require all selected team members to be available for a slot to appear as bookable. This is perfect for panel interviews, multi-stakeholder meetings, and collaborative sessions.

How It Works

The booking system calculates the intersection of all assigned hosts' availability. Only time slots where every host is free are shown to the attendee. A single meeting link is generated and all hosts are invited.

Setting Up

  1. Go to Event Types > New Event Type.
  2. Select Collective as the category.
  3. Set the event details.
  4. Assign all required hosts from your team.
  5. Save the event type.

Key Considerations

  • The more hosts you add, the fewer available slots there will be.
  • All hosts must have their availability schedules configured.
  • Calendar integrations help avoid conflicts with existing meetings.

Use Cases

  • Panel Interviews — Interviewer, hiring manager, and team lead all need to attend.
  • Client Presentations — Sales rep and solution engineer present together.
  • Team Syncs — Cross-functional meetings where everyone must be present.
  • Advisory Sessions — Multiple advisors meet with a client simultaneously.

Tips

  • Keep the number of required hosts to a minimum to maximize available slots.
  • Have all hosts connect their calendars for accurate conflict detection.
  • Consider using a longer booking window (more future days) to give attendees enough options.
  • Use buffer time generously — coordinating multiple people's schedules is harder.
