One-on-One Meetings

Set up private meetings between you and a single attendee.

One-on-One Meetings

A one-on-one meeting is the most common event type. It creates a private meeting between you (the host) and one attendee at a time.

When to Use

  • Sales discovery calls
  • Consultations
  • Coaching sessions
  • Job interviews
  • Customer support calls

Setting Up

  1. Go to Event Types > New Event Type.
  2. Choose One-on-One as the category.
  3. Set the title, duration, and location.
  4. Configure additional options like buffer time, minimum notice, and custom questions.
  5. Click Save.

Key Settings

  • Duration — Choose from 15 to 720 minutes. Common durations: 15 min (quick chat), 30 min (standard meeting), 60 min (deep-dive).
  • Location — Select where the meeting happens. If you choose Google Meet, Zoom, or Teams, a unique meeting link is generated automatically for each booking.
  • Buffer Time — Add time before and/or after each meeting. For example, a 5-minute buffer after prevents back-to-back calls.
  • Minimum Notice — Prevent last-minute bookings. Set to at least 1 hour for most use cases.
  • Max Bookings — Limit how many meetings you take per day, week, or month.

Confirmation Workflows

By default, bookings are auto-confirmed. Enable Requires Confirmation if you want to review each booking before it's finalized. Pending bookings appear in your dashboard and you'll receive a notification.

Tips

  • Use descriptive titles: "30-Min Strategy Call" is better than "Meeting".
  • Add a description explaining what to expect so attendees come prepared.
  • Set up email reminders via Workflows to reduce no-shows.
